Diana Chambers will speak about her books, especially her latest, The Star of India, set post-WWII, about a young Hollywood actress who has always dreamed of India, and the dashing Cambridge-educated maharaja who takes her there during the run-up to Independence.

She will also introduce her next novel, to be published October 2024. The Secret War of Julia Child is based on the little known early years of American cooking icon Julia Child, who served with the US clandestine service, OSS, in WWII Ceylon—where she met mapmaker Paul Child—and southern China.

Mercredi 10 avril à 17.30 : rencontre avec Annie Pempinello.

Annie Pempinello est une artiste napolitaine, actrice, dramaturge, poétesse, décoratrice. Elle a publié deux livres de poésies, Il paroliere, en 2018, lauréat du prix Annamaria Ortese, et Brevima dies en 2022 (tous deux pour Guida editore).
