The Pharmacy School of The University of Aix-Marseille is looking for experienced (2+ years) and rigorous English teachers, ideally holding teaching certifications or a proven record of working with university students, to take on 5 groups of around 15 students as of January 2025 on its Marseille site (Timone).
To be eligible to sign a contract with AMU, candidates MUST tick the boxes for the following :
– avoir un emploi principal dans le public ou le privé
– ou être auto-entrepreneur ou auto-entrepreneuse depuis plus de 3 ans
– ou retraitée de moins de 65 ans
– ou doctorante
All the materials, assessments and resources are provided.
Responsibilities include on-site teaching, assessing students regularly, and supervising/marking final exam papers. Payment (42.86€ /h gross) is made at the end of the semester due to the fact that our system does not yet support monthly payment for contract teachers.
The total number of hours is :
– 42 hours for 2d year students (Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00-12:00) beginning January 28th
– 18 hours for 4th year students (Fridays 9:00 or 10:00-12:00 TBD) beginning January 24.
Classes will end first week of April. . We are looking for one OR two teachers who can commit to these days and times. The schedule is not flexible.
